Cruise (2025)
Video installation, 49 minutes. UHD video and stereo sound. Genelec speakers and speakers with rhythmic fountains. Seating area with outdoor furniture, inspired by the furniture found on cruise ship balconies.
An essay film following the journey of a cruise, and the tourists on board, on a fjord cruise from Copenhagen to Norway. Along the way, a voiceover contemplates the role of the tourists, and the narrator's own presence, within the landscape.
The film was produced with the support of The Norwegian Arts Council, Fond for Lyd og Bilde, Billedkunstnernes Vederlagsfond, Norsk Fotografisk Fond and Trondheim kommune.
