A Friendly Imitation of Work (2019)
Two channel video installation, 08:05, UHD video. Duo-work made with Lena Katrine Sokki
In this work, two screens shows us the visual perspective of two different household appliances: a robotic vacuum cleaner and a robotic lawn mower. In two headphones, each robot performs a monologue, reflecting on what they “see” through a mash-up of the ending quotes in Susan Sontag’s book On Photography.
